Nomination «Healthcare innovator»

The Applicant for the Award in the nomination "Healthcare innovator" has outstanding personal achievements in the scientific sphere of healthcare, aimed at the development, maintenance and protection of public health.

The criteria to be met by the nominees of the "Healthcare innovator" Award:

  1. Effective practical activity: has better than colleagues, results of work in the medical sphere in any state, communal or private health care institution, consisting in the development of a new concept and/or medical technology, aimed at solving the most important, most urgent medical issues, and significantly improved (reformed) the existing health care system of Ukraine with a sustainable economic effect.
  2. Achievements: For the first time in Ukraine/the world he/she introduced its own scientific and practical developments, which are fully confirmed by randomized clinical research on the basis of evidence-based medicine; generates non-standard ideas, which for others are not obvious and not derived from other sources, to explain situations and solve problems; creates the basis for improvements that will affect the activities of all areas of public health; is the author of Ukrainian patents for invention and/or utility model; is the founder of his/her own scientific school; has published in Scopus international science and technology databases and/or Web of Science, the Hirsch index.
  3. Result-orientation: he/she achieves outstanding results, is effective, focuses on scientific achievements that have a practical, new dimension in healthcare. Keeps commitment to goals even in the face of difficulties and obstacles. All of the above-mentioned ambitious goals are achieved through tense system work and determination of the best solutions for their achievement; while performing complex tasks, he/she is able to take risks, demonstrate non-traditional and highly effective approaches to achieve the result.
  4. An economic and/or financial component of the effectiveness of diagnostic and/or therapeutic and/or rehabilitation procedures performed: skillfully, according to needs, finds, distributes and uses resources (including material, including financial ones). Initiatives to optimize resources enable compliance with targets for labor productivity, budget expenditures and other financial and economic indicators, as evidenced by relevant documents.
