The everyday resilience of Ukrainian pharmacy is the daily, often invisible to society, work of tens of thousands of specialists who, in the conditions of a full-scale war, ensured the continuous functioning of the pharmaceutical system of Ukraine.

Despite the hostilities, the occupation of certain territories, the destruction of production facilities, interruptions in electricity and water supply, complex logistics and a constant threat to life, pharmaceutical manufacturers did not stop producing vital medicines, distributors restored supply routes, and employees of pharmacies, hospital pharmacies and mobile pharmacy points provided patients with medicines even in front-line and de-occupied communities.

The everyday resilience of the pharmaceutical community was manifested not in individual heroic episodes, but in daily professional service to people. It is thanks to this work that millions of Ukrainians did not lose access to treatment, and the healthcare system retained its functionality during the most difficult period in the modern history of Ukraine.

She proved that the true greatness of the profession lies not only in high competence, but also in compassion, civic responsibility, selflessness and willingness to help those who need it most.

It is the combination of professional duty with active volunteer and charitable activities that made the Ukrainian pharmaceutical community one of the symbols of the state's humanitarian resilience during the war.

During the war, it was pharmaceutical workers who ensured the continuity of medical treatment of patients with chronic diseases, the timely supply of drugs for emergency care, intensive care, intensive care, oncology, military medicine and rehabilitation. They advised patients on the safe and rational use of medicines, helped to find alternative medicines in case of shortages and maintained the continuity of pharmacotherapy.

At a critical time for the country, they acted as a single system. Manufacturers resumed production after shelling and ensured the release of vital medicines. Distributors quickly rebuilt logistics routes. Pharmacy workers opened pharmacies after night attacks, provided patients with medicines and professional consultations. Mobile pharmacy points delivered medicines to remote, front-line and de-occupied settlements.

It was mutual trust, professional solidarity, a high level of competence and responsibility that allowed the pharmaceutical community to ensure the continuity of providing the population with medicines and medical products and to support the functioning of the healthcare system in wartime.
