The phenomenon of Inna Krasnovskaya-Kaftan is a story of the salvation and flowering of a unique southern Ukrainian art code. Originally from the now occupied village of Kalanchak in the Kherson region, the artist created her own original style of "Flowers" - a deeply symbolic combination of a flower and a bird, which personifies the flowering of life, freedom and genetic memory of the Tavria region.

After the start of the full-scale invasion and the horrors of the Russian occupation, the artist was forced to evacuate to a safe territory. Once in Norway, she not only continued to create, but also turned her pain into a tool for cultural expansion. As a volunteer, Inna launched a large-scale campaign to introduce Europeans to the deep Ukrainian culture. Her personal exhibitions and open master classes in drawing "Flowers" became a real cultural shock for reserved Norwegians. She transformed the local brand of the Kherson region into an international symbol of Ukrainian revival, proving: you can take away the occupiers' home, but you can't take away their identity.

The artist's practical contribution to healthcare is real cases of crisis art therapy, a path from frontline hospitals to rehabilitation through ethno-painting:

Hospital exhibitions and therapy for doctors: Back in Ukraine, Inna Krasnovska-Kaftan initiated and held exhibitions directly in medical institutions, transforming hospital walls into a space of psychological relief. She personally organized interactive art therapy events for patients and medical workers who were in a state of chronic exhaustion and stress.
Healing with drawing (The Flower Method): The uniqueness of her art therapy approach lies in immersing the patient in creating the image of the Flower. Drawing a bird-flower according to Inna's method helps patients express emotions blocked by trauma, reduces anxiety, and activates the body's internal resources for physical recovery. Now she is successfully scaling this experience of mental rehabilitation through Ukrainian art abroad, helping other Ukrainian refugees adapt.

Inna Krasnovska-Kaftan has gone from isolation in occupied Kalanchak to the status of the official cultural ambassador of Ukraine in Norway.
